Halloween At The Dallas Arboretum
Kelli and her mom's group (group of fellow moms, not a group associated with her mom) all got together at the Arboretum last weekend to dress the kids up in their Halloween costumes and take pictures.

This was the second night of trying to introduce Bella to food found outside the bottle. Last time we tried rice cereal which all our parent-friends (and even our own parents) have told us was too solid; this time we tried something 1) runnier and B) sweeter.
The results were a bit better this time but we're not ready to enter her in any July 4th hot dog eating competitions yet:
I took these real quick on a break from meeting with some of the staff at the Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington this afternoon.
1) Something that very few Texas A&M fans thought they would probably ever see (at least my wife was in that group) the locker of Steven McGee in the Dallas Cowboys locker room. I happened to sneak in there during a tour that they were giving and one of the guys I was with told me the wood is imported from Africa and runs $9k a pop.
2) A shot from the ground level where the field would be if it had been laid out yet. They were getting ready to lay the "turf" for the Texas A&M/Arkansas game the coming weekend.
3) Another shot from the ground of the mighty screen - they just attached some new wench system that allows them to raise and lower it at will. I stared at it long enough that it looked like it was swaying...then I left.
4) Shot from the sideline as they are rolling the field out - very strange to see the concrete under there.
Kelli and I decided to start Bella on something other than formula today and tried out rice cereal; I guess it's pretty much 50/50 with most kids on how they are going to react the first time they try something like this and I can't blame her reaction...

And we try another approach here

Here's more photos of the whole experience:
This is a followup to my previous post about photos from our Destin trip - this time I've got the rest of the photos uploaded to Flickr: .
Enjoy!
Two pictures from the first college game played at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington between the University of Oklahoma Sooners and some school from Utah.
I'd rather not talk about the actual outcome of the game - look at the size of that screen!
Passing time while on a flight back home from a discovery meeting with a potential client in Tulsa and brushing up on my less-than-amazing blackjack skills; somehow, magically, I managed to win.
If this had been a real game, everyone else at the table would have been pissed the dealer burned all those aces....
Over the next few days I'll upload a series of pictures from our recent family trip to Destin - I won't bore you with all the details b/c Kelli has a great write-up here - but it was a very relaxing trip and Bella did great in the car for 11 hrs.
The first set is pictures from our first day at Destin in Kelli's parent's new house there and b/c I'm a first-time dad are pretty much all about Bella.
Enjoy:
I was lucky enough to get to attend one of the training camp sessions for the Dallas Cowboys in San Antonio in August - here are some pictures that I took.
There are some good ones of Jerry Jones, Tony Romo, Leonard Davis, Patrick Crayton and others in here because we had sideline passes for one of the morning practices. I'm not a huge Cowboys fan but it was a pretty good opportunity to get that close and an even better opportunity to shoot in a location that I haven't ever worked in before - inside a stadium.
Lessons Learned:
Things like this REALLY make me hate ATT for their archaic upgrade policies - if I want to give you MORE money for another phone AND extend my contract why won't you do it?
